About the role

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team at Havasu Regional Medical Center. As a member of our dedicated healthcare providers, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
  • Maintains patient safety and monitors patient condition, responding appropriately to changes.
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and performs quality control checks on equipment.
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures, analyzes results, and takes corrective action if necessary.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately.
  • Supports the department in meeting service levels and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Continues professional development through ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current radiation operator certificate in state of practice.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology.
  • BLS required.

Qualifications

  • Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
