About the role

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team. This role is driven by a commitment to providing exceptional patient care that exceeds industry standards and patient expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews patient history and physician’s orders.
  • Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Maintains patient condition and reports/responds to changes in status as necessary.
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
  • Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

  • Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent validation by current licensure.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • (WA) State Radiation Operators License or temporary (WA) State Radiation Operators license within 6 months of hire.
  • ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

Essential functions of this position may require the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pass background check.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.

Pay

Hourly range: $21.48 - $30.51
