About the role
Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
Captures patient flow and coordinates activities of the Radiology Department.
Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition.
May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
May have on call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.

Requirements
- Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
- Area of study or major: Radiologic Technology
- CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
- ARRT RT (R) registry required
- ODH licensure required
Experience
- No prior job-related work experience
Knowledge/Skills
- Human anatomy
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage
- Radiation safety
