About the role
Responsible for managing daily operations of the imaging department, including staff scheduling, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient patient flow. Serves as a resource for policy interpretation and implementation, develops quality assurance programs, and monitors safety and performance. Maintains communication with department colleagues to optimize patient care and implements system improvements. Handles interdepartmental problem resolution, investigates complaints, and participates in budgeting and capital acquisitions. Oversees staff performance, recruitment, and adherence to ethical and safety standards, ensuring age-appropriate patient care.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Radiographer or nuclear medicine certification
- Radiology license
- Three years of radiologic experience, including leadership roles
- Demonstrated leadership and technical proficiency
- Knowledge of radiation safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in radiology techniques and anatomy
- Strong computer skills
- Physical ability to perform job functions and work safely with hazards
