About the role

The Radiology Scheduler Call Center is responsible for scheduling radiology procedures, verifying insurance, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing excellent customer service. The position involves managing high call volumes, coordinating with healthcare teams, and supporting clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and update patient information accurately
• Schedule radiology procedures efficiently
• Perform insurance verification on the day of service
• Answer inbound and outbound calls promptly and courteously
• Follow up on appointments, lab results, and referrals
• Maintain medical records and ensure document accuracy
• Support team goals through collaboration and adherence to policies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years in customer service or healthcare setting
• Proficiency with computers and multi-tasking applications
• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures (preferred)
• Experience with electronic health records and scheduling programs (preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
