Radiology PACS Manager

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Radiologic Technology, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in PACS administration and/or imaging technology systems leadership required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting radiology imaging workflows, PACS operations, and clinical systems integration.
  • Experience managing PACS administration, integration with Cerner EMR, and radiology IT operations strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in a clinical, imaging, or healthcare IT environment preferred.
  • Certification in PACS Administration (CIIP), Cerner EMR, or Health IT systems preferred. Additional certifications and licenses as required by the hiring department.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows, imaging modalities, and medical terminology.
  • Expertise with DICOM, HL7, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Familiarity with EMR platforms and imaging integration workflows.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to complex IT systems.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, server infrastructure, and cloud-based PACS solutions.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both clinical and technical stakeholders.
