Radiology Manager

Role Overview The Manager of Radiology oversees a high-volume Imaging Center, including multiple radiology modalities, a lab, and patient access departments. They are responsible for daily operations, managing personnel, financial resources, and ensuring quality patient outcomes across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The role involves supervising clinical activities, scheduling, equipment evaluation, and communication within the department to deliver efficient and accurate patient care. The manager also leads performance improvement initiatives and supports educational activities to promote continuous improvement and compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services and equipment to meet departmental needs.Direct radiology functions through staffing, supply management, and clinical organization.Ensure high-quality patient care and departmental efficiency.Lead performance improvement and staff development activities. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of three years of progressive clinical or supervisory experience in radiology, with knowledge of radiology equipment.Proficiency in radiology concepts, meeting ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB standards.Registration by recognized radiologic or diagnostic medical boards.Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
