About the Role
The Manager of Radiology-Diagnostic coordinates patient scheduling, staff schedules, Radiologist schedules, medical record functions, maintenance, billing concerns, and overall radiology operations under the direction of the Regional Director of Radiology Services.
Responsibilities
- Interview potential clerical applicants, provide orientation to new clerical employees, and assist with employee evaluations.
- Reconcile all charging, including support for Professional billing component and coding.
- Collaborate with HIM and Centralized billing office to resolve patient billing issues.
- Review and finalize all payroll for staff.
- Develop, direct, and coordinate operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care in the Imaging Center.
- Ensure accurate completion of all forms and records related to department functions.
- Supervise all staff within the department in collaboration with the Modality Supervisor and Regional Director.
- Oversee coordination of services within the facility, identifying operational and safety issues and addressing them with relevant departments (e.g., security, facilities, materials management).
- Coordinate building support services, including engineering, facilities, housekeeping, security, parking, patient experience, and other departments.
- Ensure the Imaging Center complies with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain all facility regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare managerial role (required).
- ARRT certification (required).
- Master’s Degree (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare managerial role within Radiology (preferred).
- Knowledge of billing and coding (preferred).
Pay
Anticipated annual salary range: $102,886.19 - $164,617.90 per year for positions in New Jersey. Compensation will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
