About the Role

Performs optimal radiographs for all patient populations through proper positioning and exposure settings. Participates in cross-training activities to function in multi-modality roles and meets patient care needs within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties to meet patient care needs within the scope of practice.
• Interact with hospital staff and nursing departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts; assist in resolving issues.
• Maintain performance skills and accountability for professional development.
• Work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and/or on-call/call-back status as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification (R).
• Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the State of Texas (Texas Medical Board).
• Current BLS certification, in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA for Healthcare Provider’s Program.
• Demonstrate commitment and adherence to compliance programs, policies, and procedures, including the Code of Conduct.
