About the role

We are seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our team in Carlsbad, NM. This position offers flexible scheduling to support our imaging department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, following established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Assist radiologists and other healthcare providers with imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
