About the role
MRI Techs are needed on a PRN basis in McAllen.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the examination.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines and facility policies.
- Document patient information accurately and securely.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in MRI technology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
Skills
- Proficient in operating MRI equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
