About the role
A CT Technologist performs computed tomography imaging procedures, reviews patient history, administers contrast media, and ensures the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Conduct imaging procedures based on physician orders.
- Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure.
- Implement best practices for image clarity and equipment functionality.
- Perform 3-D post-processing as needed.
- Review patient history prior to imaging.
- Administer contrast media safely and effectively.
- Respond to patient needs and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Ensure image quality and equipment performance meet standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT in CT.
- Current BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
