Responsibilities
- Execute high-precision CT imaging procedures by following radiologist protocols to ensure the accurate diagnosis of patient injuries and diseases.
- Prepare and guide patients through their scans by accurately setting anatomical parameters and administering contrast media, ensuring both clinical excellence and patient safety.
- Monitor patient well-being during every procedure, responding proactively to any changes in status to provide a secure and supportive care environment.
- Collaborate on clinical excellence by recommending protocol updates and refinements, ensuring the department remains at the forefront of imaging technology and safety.
- Uphold rigorous radiation safety standards and state regulations to protect patients and the healthcare team while maintaining high-quality diagnostic output.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
