CT Technologist

About the role
Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia. This is a full-time, evening shift opportunity with great benefits. A $20,000 bonus is available to qualified candidates.
As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician while adhering to required protocol standards. Responsibilities include performing CT scans per protocol, providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, completing department documentation, maintaining equipment cleanliness and functionality, and ensuring adequate supply inventory for examinations. You will also follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines and administer CT contrast per protocol.
Requirements
- Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT or CNMT certification required
- BLS certification
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire
