CT Technologist

About the Role

The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at a medical center. They are valued clinical professionals and essential members of a collaborative care team, supporting department operations and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure
• Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and address questions to reduce anxiety
• Administer contrast agents and position patients correctly
• Review images for quality, repeat or correct as needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and supplies
• Support department workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association)
