About the role
The Radiology and Imaging Manager oversees a multidisciplinary department with over 35 staff, including modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and X-ray. This role is responsible for all department operations, including budget management, staff performance, equipment maintenance, workflow improvements, and resolving member concerns.
The manager will oversee 60-75% of department employees, conduct performance reviews, and develop staff. They will also address equipment issues, monitor exam volumes, and draft business and capital proposals.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary radiology department.
- Oversee budget management and financial performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and develop staff.

- Draft and present business and capital proposals.
- Resolve member concerns and ensure compliance with hospital regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Relevant certifications and education in radiologic technology or a related field.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Experience with hospital regulations and healthcare systems.
- Financial acumen for budget management and proposal development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Availability for on-call duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced degrees or extensive related experience in radiology or healthcare management.
