Radiology Aide - Part Time

About the Role

The Radiology Aide provides patient and family orientation, assists with patient movement within the facility, and ensures timely access to exam areas. They troubleshoot patient needs, communicate effectively with staff, and support all clinical service access. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrating compassion, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and families, resolving scheduling conflicts and emergencies
• Share patient information accurately and communicate with relevant personnel
• Support compliance with licensing and safety standards, complete required training
• Provide compassionate interactions, offer directions, and respond to patient concerns
• Work cooperatively with staff, manage resources efficiently, and seek continuous improvement
• Transport patients safely, handle paperwork carefully, and maintain a safe environment
• Communicate clearly, organize tasks, and problem-solve to enhance patient experience

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR certification within 6 months of hire
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and commitment to quality service
