Part-Time Radiology Aide

Assist in the daily operation of the Diagnostic Imaging division under supervision, including patient transportation, room preparation, and radiographic image handling. Support radiographers during portable procedures, prepare patients by lifting and positioning, and ensure correct identification. Transport patients and equipment safely using appropriate devices, and maintain cleanliness and readiness of work areas. Follow safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols, considering age-specific needs of adult and geriatric patients. Perform related duties such as logging data, completing forms, and maintaining supplies. Requirements include a high school diploma, effective communication skills, and at least three months of healthcare-related experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care in healthcare settings preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
