Radiologic Technologist - Relief

About the Role

This is a part-time, non-exempt, on-call position with clinic hours ranging from Mon-Fri 7:30am-8:00pm and Sat/Holidays 8:30am-5pm. Friday and Saturday availability is required. The role provides coverage between Sunnyside Immediate Care, Yakima, and Toppenish Clinics.

Pay

$28.89-$35.39 per hour, depending on experience, with the ability to earn more for highly experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Verifies current patient data and/or enters new patient data.
• Greets patients and prepares them for x-rays.
• Takes x-rays and reviews results to ensure accurate pictures are achieved.
• Processes scans and uploads pictures to the patient file.
• Notifies the Provider that scans are ready.
• Sends scans to the Radiologist to review as needed.
• Processes insurance and billing paperwork for patient x-rays.
• Orders and stocks supplies needed for x-rays.
• Follows x-ray safety protocols.
• Performs clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.

Requirements

• Completion of a 2-year approved radiology training program upon employment.
• Completion of an electrocardiogram (EKG) training program within 30 days of employment.
• Associate Degree in Radiological Sciences preferred.
• One year's experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Registered as a Technologist in Washington state.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred (this position is not eligible for bilingual differential pay).

• Strong organizational skills.
