Radiologic Technologist, Hospital
About the role
Methodist is seeking a Rad Tech to join the Xray Hospital team at Park Nicollet Radiology. This position involves partnering with providers to ensure a safe, caring experience for each patient. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiographic procedures, interact professionally with patients, physicians, and staff, and maintain regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Performs high quality and accurate radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educates and trains others on the operation of all equipment, procedures, image quality and exposure techniques.
Requirements
- Licensure/Registration/Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry is required and must be maintained.
- Must secure CPR certification within 6 months and continuously maintain.

- Computer knowledge or experience.
- The ability to exercise good judgment.

- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles.

- Willingness to train and maintain competency in new equipment and technology.
