Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist at DMOS, you'll play a crucial role in helping patients get back to living by taking x-ray images to aid in diagnosis. You'll work alongside the clinical team and fellow Radiology Technologists to ensure each patient receives a comfortable and informative experience.

About the Role

You must have a Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa, active ARRT Certification, and a strong commitment to patient care. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with additional Saturday coverage at Urgent Injury Clinics.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for x-ray exams
• Operate x-ray machines to capture high-quality images
• Review and adjust images as needed
• Communicate with patients to ensure they understand their care journey
• Work independently while knowing when to seek assistance

Requirements

• Active ARRT Certification
• Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa
• Ability to communicate calmly and provide reassurance
• Strong listening skills and ability to avoid interrupting patients
