About the role
Leads a team within the Diagnostic Radiology department, providing guidance, performance monitoring, and fostering teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervises, coaches, and evaluates team members on productivity and quality standards.
- Acts as a positive role model, promoting cooperation among staff.
- Coordinates services, prioritizes workflow, and assists with complex issues and decision-making.
- Oversees equipment quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- May work with Radiology students.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT; relevant specialty certifications if applicable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
