Radiologic Technologist Lead

Job Summary

As our Technologist Lead of the Radiology-Diagnostic department, you will oversee the daily operations, ensuring high standards of patient care and departmental efficiency. You will manage clinical staff, ensure the quality of imaging and data, and collaborate with Radiologists and supervisors on protocols and exam prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily work assignments for clinical staff
• Ensuring the quality of all departmental imaging and data
• Utilizing good radiation safety practices
• Operating teleradiology and PACS systems
• Collaborating with Radiologists and supervisors on protocols and exam prioritization
• Performing routine assignments independently
• Consistently prioritizing tasks
• Maintaining professional licensure
• Demonstrating technical competency with teleradiology and PACS systems
• Effectively communicating with patients across various age groups

Required Job Requirements

• Graduate from an approved Radiological Technology Program
• Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Demonstrated excellence in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology
• Medical Radiographer: AZ (MRAD:AZ)
• American Heart Association-issued Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
