Radio Promotion Intern

About the role

The Syndicate is seeking interns who are passionate, driven, and eager to be part of our award-winning radio department. Interns will work collaboratively with our college, alternative, non-comm, and loud rock promotion staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Listen to new music releases
• Contribute to weekly newsletters
• Run data and build radio reports for clients

Requirements

• Passion for music
• General knowledge of radio charts and radio formats
• Comfortable learning new databases and digital platforms (previous use of Squarespace and DISCO is a plus)
• Passion for radio, attending live concerts, and artist development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Ability to multi-task and take direction in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a matriculated program, pursuing a degree at an accredited institution
• Must be able to earn college credit

Schedule

Must be able to commit to working remotely, on a hybrid schedule, or in-office from 10am–6pm, 2–5 days per week (exceptions offered on a case-by-case basis due to class schedules).
