About the role
The Radiation Therapist II, in tandem with a second therapist, can administer radiation treatments independently.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments independently under supervision.
- Collaborate with a second therapist to ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy.
- Document all treatments accurately and timely in the medical record system.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain competency in radiation therapy.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy.
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy required.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Radiation Therapist required.
- ARRT-R.T.(T) certification required.
- Current BLS required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
