About the role

The Radiation Therapist II, in tandem with a second therapist, can administer radiation treatments independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments independently under supervision.
• Collaborate with a second therapist to ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy.
• Document all treatments accurately and timely in the medical record system.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain competency in radiation therapy.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy.
• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy required.
• Current applicable state(s) license as a Radiation Therapist required.
• ARRT-R.T.(T) certification required.
• Current BLS required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
