About the role
EōS Fitness is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of HVAC trade experience and 3-5 years of HVAC maintenance experience. Additionally, successful candidates must hold an EPA certification and pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of 15-20 gyms
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, exhaust fans, mini-splits, economizers, thermostats, and associated components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical system issues
- Repair or replace motors, belts, capacitors, contactors, filters, relays, thermostats, and other HVAC components
- Maintain proper airflow, temperature control, and indoor air quality standards
- Identify potential failures proactively and recommend corrective actions before equipment downtime occurs
- Maintain accurate records of PMs, repairs, refrigerant usage, and equipment history
- Respond promptly to HVAC-related service requests and emergencies
- Escalate major repair needs appropriately with recommendations and supporting documentation
- Maintain detailed HVAC asset inventories for assigned locations
- Track equipment condition, lifecycle, warranty information, and replacement needs
- Maintain organized inventory of HVAC tools, filters, common repair parts, and supplies
- Maintain active EPA Certification
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/rooftops
Qualifications
- 3-5 years HVAC trade experience
- 3-5 years HVAC maintenance experience (all systems)
- 3-5 Years EPA Certification
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment
- Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations
Skills
Proficiency in multitasking and working in a high-energy atmosphere is essential. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/rooftops is required. Knowledge of HVAC systems, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is necessary. Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols is also important.
