Radiation Therapist - Full Time, Day Shift

Role Overview: Responsible for administering ionizing irradiation to patients following physician prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy during treatment. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, assist patients, and deliver prescribed radiation doses while observing safety protocols.Explain procedures to patients, monitor for reactions or complications, and report any issues to supervisors and physicians.Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient charts, and clinical observations.Supervise and evaluate students' practical performance, providing guidance and support.Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental functions. Qualifications & Skills Required certifications include ARRT-T and TRT; CPR/BLS certification preferred.Preferred education includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in radiological technology or equivalent, with experience in radiologic technology advantageous.Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient communication, and record-keeping is essential. Organizational Requirements: Commitment to safety protocols, including vaccination policies, and compliance with E-Verify employment verification process.
