Core Responsibility
Delivers consulting project activities as a subject matter expert in radiation therapy, ensuring maximum utilization of company products and training by customers to meet their business needs. Travel up to 75%.
- Evaluating business processes and recommending process changes.
- Documenting processes and identifying problem areas.
- Specifying and designing hardware and software.
- Managing change and conducting tests of recommended strategies.
- Identifying training needs and facilitating solution deployment.
- Curating content and configuring products for the Varian project implementation team.
- Conducting detailed requirements gathering sessions and translating workflow requirements into actionable technical configuration tasks.
- Developing and implementing customer-specific user adoption strategies and best practices.
- Providing onsite support during system Go-Live and immediate post-Go-Live periods.
Applicable to the Oncology Systems Business Only
- Full access to VMS client sites required.
- Vendor Credentialing requirements must be met.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of direct patient care experience as a Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist, Physicist, Oncology Nurse, or similar licensed position.
- Management and aptitude of standardized guidelines preferred.
- 8+ years combined experience with Oncology settings and Healthcare Technology vendors.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of collaboration and consensus building.
- Ability to solve complex problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate with customer's C-level and internal management.
- Ability to lead through influence.
Other Desired Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to assess and develop future state workflows through the implementation of Varian solutions.
- Understanding of patient-to-care-team relationships and key elements driving healthcare organizations' business perspectives.
- Knowledge of medical informatics standards.
- Experience with medical data and standardization of guidelines.
- Ability to work in matrixed and unstructured environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving Healthcare environment.
Required Criteria
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Leadership experience in clinical operations.
- Proven track record of financial and operational performance.
- Completion of Varian training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
- Mandatory Vendor Credentialing requirements for client site access.
Base Pay Range
$89,220 - $122,672
