We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncology Physician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cancer patients using advanced radiation therapy techniques, contributing to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists) to develop comprehensive treatment plans for cancer patients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, review medical histories, and conduct physical examinations to determine appropriate radiation therapy approaches.
• Utilize advanced imaging technologies (CT, MRI, PET scans) to precisely target tumors and develop accurate treatment plans.
• Safely administer radiation therapy in accordance with established protocols, ensuring optimal outcomes while minimizing side effects.
• Monitor patients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans based on response and emerging medical developments.
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes, potential side effects, and supportive care measures.
• Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology through conferences, workshops, and continuous medical education.
• Contribute to research and clinical trials, incorporating evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency program in Radiation Oncology from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Radiation Oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
• Strong clinical acumen in designing and delivering radiation therapy treatments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
• Dedication to patient-centered care and commitment to safety and quality in treatment delivery.
• Proficiency in medical software, electronic health records (EHR), and treatment planning systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage in ongoing professional development.

Pay

$410,000 - $510,000 USD (salaried position). The estimate represents the typical wage range for candidates hired. Factors such as skills, experience, and comparisons to existing employees may determine actual salary.
