About the role
This is a combined position where the main focus will be operational sales and customer development. The amount of HR and leadership support will vary throughout the year depending on the organisation’s needs and activity. You will be part of the staff and our sales‑and‑marketing team, working closely with the sales‑and‑marketing manager, the daily manager and the department heads at both of our locations. The role is central to strengthening and further developing the organisation’s market position by seeking out and establishing contact with new customers and markets, while also developing existing customer relationships.
Work takes place across our departments in Bodø and Lofoten and includes activities at customer sites. The permanent workplace will be Bodø or Gravdal. Some travel is required. Start date: by agreement.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to further develop the customer portfolio through existing and new customer relationships.
- Follow up inquiries, requests and sales opportunities from first contact to agreement, in close collaboration with the professional teams and departments.
- Plan and carry out sales activities together with the sales‑and‑marketing team, using customer, market and sales data to prioritise and develop the sales work.
- Provide practical HR and leader support to the daily manager and department heads on personnel‑related questions and processes.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding and follow‑up of employees, as well as the development of good HR routines.
- Help ensure that personnel documentation, HR processes and relevant parts of the quality system are up‑to‑date and complied with.
Requirements
- Experience with proactive sales, customer development or relationship‑based sales.
- Experience from HR, personnel work, leadership or practical leader support.
- Good digital understanding and ability to master digital work tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Relevant higher education within sales, marketing, HR, leadership or a comparable field; extensive relevant experience may compensate for the education requirement.
- Experience from the maritime sector, course business or other relevant B2B markets is an advantage, but not required.
