About the role

Egmontgården is a municipal crisis center for all genders under Socialforvaltningen in Københavns Kommune. It houses socially vulnerable and crisis-stricken individuals, including those eligible under service laws 109 and 110. We are currently undergoing a transformation process to shape Egmontgården's future, which we will implement from October 2026 onwards. Located in København Ø, Egmontgården has 87 apartments for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with approximately 10-12 residents, including potentially enrolled children, providing primary advisory, clarification, and support functions.
  • Coordinate internally and externally with partners.
  • Focus on relational work with residents, prioritizing and weighing positive, safe, and developmental relationships that can strengthen residents during and after their stay at Egmontgården.
  • Be proactive and engaged in social activities with residents.
  • Document our interventions and consider documentation as a crucial tool for creating coherence around residents' experiences. Also, ensure clear and comprehensive written explanations for residents to open doors to suitable offers and support in the future.
  • Work at a high professional level in pedagogical and social work, engaging in a narrative, systemic, and motivating approach. The group of engaged, versatile colleagues works with great influence and mutual support and external supervision.

Requirements

  • Have a background in social guidance or pedagogy to perform the function at a high professional level.
  • Experience working with vulnerable and crisis-stricken individuals.
  • Act in unpredictable situations and maintain focus in stressful conditions.
  • Show a respectful and empathetic approach towards residents and colleagues.
  • Have experience working across different colleagues in a cross-disciplinary team.
  • Understand the importance of documentation, information, etc., in our work.

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled and competent in various fields.
  • Reflective and have strong writing and speaking skills.
  • Flexible and able to handle practical tasks.

Benefits

Full-time position starting October 1, 2026. Work hours are divided between day and evening shifts with about two evening shifts per week, one full weekend shift, and a fixed holiday rotation. Employment is subject to the terms of the collective agreement between Kommunernes Landsforening and relevant trade unions. Documentation of child and punishment records is required upon employment.

Pay

The salary is negotiated within the framework of local wage agreements.

Schedule

Workdays are from Monday to Friday, with two evening shifts per week, one full weekend shift, and a fixed holiday rotation.
