About the role

You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team supporting residential facilities with specialized tasks beyond the core pedagogical work. The team collaborates closely, providing ongoing support and helping each other find solutions. As a social work coordinator, you will:

• Coordinate collaboration between citizens, residential facilities, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Support and qualify social documentation, descriptions, and recommendations
• Facilitate touch-base, screening, and follow-up meetings
• Advise staff and managers on social work matters
• Contribute to creating the best possible solutions for each citizen to live a more independent life

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Is a qualified social worker
• Works in a structured and independent manner
• Thrives in a coordinating and advisory role
• Communicates clearly both orally and in writing
• Has knowledge of the Service Act or is motivated to quickly familiarize yourself with the area
• Values cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Preferably has experience from the disability, social, or authority sector, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates with motivation and engagement

Pay

Salary according to the current collective agreement.

Schedule

This is a temporary position from September 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension. The position is full-time (37 hours per week), primarily daytime, though some meetings may occur outside normal working hours. You will have multiple work locations within Copenhagen Municipality and will largely plan your own working hours.
