Rad Tech PRN Seasonal
Job Summary
Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages.
Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
Program Requirements
- Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period within a close geography.
- Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
- Two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee) during the 32-week period.
- Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off.
- No guaranteed hours by the hospital.
- Not eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD).
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
- State Registered Radiologic Technician-AART or MRT in TX
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT
