Job Summary

Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages
Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

Program Requirements

Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period within a close geography.
Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
Two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee) during the course of the 32-week period.
Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off.
No guaranteed hours by the hospital.
Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD).

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
State Registered Radiologic Technician-AART or MRT in TX
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT
