Rad Tech PRN Seasonal

Job Summary

Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages
Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

Program Requirements

• Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period within a close geography
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period
• Two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee) during the course of the 32-week period
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off
• No guaranteed hours by the hospital
• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• State Registered Radiologic Technician-AART or MRT in TX
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT
