Job Summary

Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages. Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring. Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Program Requirements

  • Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period within a close geography.
  • Four (4) weekend shifts required each 4 week schedule period.
  • Two (2) holiday shifts required during the 32-week period (defined by Department Manager or designee).
  • Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. No guaranteed hours by the hospital.
  • No extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD) for Seasonal Staff.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician-AART or MRT in TX
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT
