Racquet Instructor
Responsibilities
- Teach private and/or group lessons for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Follow the curriculum as determined by the Director of Tennis.
- Supervise leagues, teams and other tennis programs as assigned by the Head Professional.
- Maintain accurate class attendance records.
- Monitor and relate student's progress to student on a regular basis.
- Promote club programs and encourage registration/participation.
- Attend all departmental staff meetings.
- Attend quarterly all-staff meetings.
- Motivate students through use of new teaching techniques in private or group lessons.
- Report for lessons on time and in professional attire.
- Absorb and complete all assignments deemed appropriate by the Director of Tennis or General Manager.
Job Qualifications
- Have a USPTA or USPTR certification.
- Have minimum of two (2) years teaching experience.
- Demonstrate a moderate to high level of playing proficiency.
- Demonstrate on court teaching techniques.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain positive attitude.
