Primary Location: United States (US) - Ohio - Plain City Function: Marketing and Sales (CA) Title: Instructor - 124021 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Instructor for JD Olate located in Plain City, OH you will: Take the lead role in the delivery of trainingTake the lead role to develop / adapts content and training materials and activities for classes - marketing, management, sales, etc)Research training topics to increase subject matter expertise specific to product, machine systems, professional skills, and product applicationsDistribute/share training information with appropriate channel partners, Company personnel, and customersAssist/support channel partners, Company personnel, and customers regarding content and deliveryConstruct and maintain equipment for all classesDocument training curriculum for Instructor Guide, maintains and updates Instructor GuideEnsure the integrity of documentation as well as the validity to current product, training delivery processes, and organizational needsContinually evaluate the effectiveness of the course meeting its objectives during delivery and from evaluationsMake appropriate changes to course materials and deliveryUtilize knowledge of training to promote training products, training systems, and training materialsBe responsible for classroom/training event administration (acquiring roster, taking enrollment, completing exit evaluations) and communicating results to appropriate personnel or system VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need Knowledge of Learning and Development process including areas such as instructional skills, presentation skills, needs assessments, adult learning theory, curriculum development and other such related knowledge and skillsAn ability to use various department specific computer programsFamiliarity with one or more of the following systems: mechanical, hydraulic, electricalKnowledge of dealers and other channelsKnowledge of products, customers, markets and competitorsAbility to travel up to 25% based on business needs What Makes You Stand Out 2 or more years experience in training and development area involved in activities such as instruction, needs assessments, curriculum development, and other such related training and development work2 or more years of product support experienceTechnical training experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: A bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
