Job Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Read and understand visual aids.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Coincides with Assembly Line Supervisor to organize line workload and staffing depending on product priority.
• Maintains work quality and monitors the CIQ system to correct recurring and recognized issues promptly.
• Reduces changeover times through efficient and planned changeovers.
• Controls excess materials on the floor; ensures adequate stockage and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
• Verifies the presence of accurate, up-to-date, and authorized documentation on the line.
• Informs or instructs employees about any discrepancies or changes.
• Notifies the Manufacturing Supervisor of all employee-related issues, concerns, and suggestions.
• Pursues continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Ensures line personnel are adequately trained, certified, and performing their assigned tasks.
• Motivates and challenges line members to reach their full potential through regular feedback.
• Monitors production levels and ensures adherence to deadlines and schedules.
• Reviews and adheres to relevant policies and procedures.
