Job Qualifications
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Read and understand visual aids.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coincides with Assembly Line Supervisor to organize line workload and staffing depending on product priority.
- Maintains work quality and monitors the CIQ system to correct recurring and recognized issues promptly.
- Reduces changeover times by organizing and planning changeovers efficiently.
- Controls excess materials on the floor; ensures proper stockage and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
- Verifies the accuracy, currentness, and authorization of documentation on the line.
- Informs or instructs employees about any deviations or changes.
- Notifies the Manufacturing Supervisor of all employee-related problems, concerns, and recommendations.
- Pursues continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
- Ensures line personnel are adequately trained, certified, and performing their assigned tasks.
- Motivates and challenges line members to reach their full potential through direct and timely feedback.
- Monitors production levels and ensures all deadlines and schedules are met.
- Reviews and adheres to relevant policies and procedures.
