Responsibilities

  • Partner with R&D teams, as well as manufacturing and quality teams, to develop solutions for current and next generation window and door products.
  • Influence the system form factor, product performance, and customer experience for those using our products.
  • Be a key contributor in our mission to become a world-class customer experience company through our products and services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with 3D CAD modeling
  • 1 year experience working on product development, including prototyping and testing
  • Experience with dimensional engineering and tolerance analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience working in Research and Development or working in a product development environment
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex problems involving product and process
  • Experience with test method creation and improvement
  • Experience with characterization, process monitoring, specifications, failure analysis and data analysis
  • Ability to present facts to team members at all levels and backgrounds
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, lean, and process improvement methodology
  • Knowledge of the building industry
  • Hands on practical experience building something, either personal or professional

Pay Range

$90,039.00 - $139,561.00
