Position Details

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a College Health position in Hamden, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in adolescent health.

About the role

The ideal candidate must be available to provide coverage on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, which are the primary coverage needs for this role. Additional opportunities for coverage throughout the week and weekends. Flexibility to work occasional additional shifts based on operational needs is preferred. Call schedule: No call required.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Training: APRN (Family, Pediatric, Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA
• Experience: At least two years of post-graduate experience as a Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or Physician Assistants (PA)
• Preferred but not required: Allergy Immunotherapy experience, Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience
