QuickBooks Expert / Financial Operations Specialist

About the role

Small Town Roofing & Construction is looking for an experienced QuickBooks professional to organize our financial records, improve reporting, and help us maintain accurate financial operations as our company continues to grow. This is more than basic bookkeeping—we're looking for someone who can help us build efficient financial systems and provide meaningful insights.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Track customer payments.
• Monitor outstanding invoices.
• Manage vendor payments.
• Prepare payroll information.
• Generate Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Build monthly financial reports for ownership.
• Help manage company budgets.
• Track job costs and profitability.
• Organize receipts and financial documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
• Work closely with management on financial planning.

Requirements

• Advanced QuickBooks Online experience.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Excellent understanding of financial reporting.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (must have).
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication.
• Experience with construction or roofing companies is a strong plus.

Pay

Competitive pay based on experience. This is a monthly based pay.

Schedule

Monday–Friday. Flexible hours with overlap during U.S. business hours.
