Quality Technician (Mon-Fri | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
About the role
As the RDC Quality Technician at Batesville, you will assess damaged product and restore it to its factory original condition. This position is based in Quakertown, PA.
Responsibilities
- Repair metal and wood caskets to the original best quality
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Work with and report to the RDC Manager to control inventory flow using a first-in, first-out approach
- Maintain a sense of urgency regarding workflow
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of metal and wood repair to achieve top quality results
- Ability to organize work area to maximize productivity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to train, manage, lead, and understand LEAN or Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong safety background with a focus on continuous improvement
- 2 years of related experience and/or training, with an emphasis in auto body or wood repair (preferred)

- Occasionally required to crouch or lift items as heavy as 50 lbs

Pay
The expected pay for this role is $19 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
