Quality Technician Job

As a QA Lab Technician, you will be responsible for all in-process and final testing associated with the production, manufacturing, and release of products. Your testing ensures products are made safely and meet both customer expectations and specifications. You will execute procedures and methods tied to our quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Verification of raw materials
• Testing of in-process and final samples according to established test methods
• Communication of results to production and process engineers
• Ensuring accuracy of data and precision of test equipment
• Use of laboratory computer systems (SAP) and other supporting software
• Calibration of instruments
• Providing non-routine testing for corrective actions or process improvements
• Participation in the facility’s Internal Audit program
• Following all safety requirements and practicing good housekeeping
• General maintenance of the lab
• Setting up SAP QC testing plans for new products and raw materials
• Maintaining inventory of all lab supplies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred
• Willingness and ability to work off-shift and/or 12-hour shifts
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills and ability to learn new programs
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
