About The Role

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring all products meet company and quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
  • Performing routine and job-specific load performance tests
  • Conducting incoming inspections on products received from vendors
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the facility
  • Carrying out daily in-process quality audits on the production floor
  • Qualifying new or revised products as needed
  • Maintaining updated certified testing reports on standard products
  • Aiding in continuous improvement of product and manufacturing processes
  • Visiting job sites to identify and recommend solutions to problems
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and following established safety procedures
  • Reporting all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
  • Proficiency in using various tools and measuring instruments
  • Strong shop-floor orientation
  • Knowledge of aluminum cutting and milling operations is a plus
  • Accuracy and integrity in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented communication skills
  • Three (3) plus years manufacturing experience
