Quality Supervisor (swing)

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO compliance for Quality and Environmental management
• Oversight of internal quality manufacturing management
• Provide training on ISO 9001
• Ensure all audit responses are closed out in a proper and timely manner
• Participate with other senior leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives
• Manage and maintain document control for agency compliance, training records, calibration logs
• Influence the development of corrective and preventative actions
• Measure effectiveness of actions ensuring conformity with quality specifications
• Manage the activities and objectives of the Quality supervisors and lead
• Coach subordinates to maintain a continuous quality improvement environment
• Complete 8D’s and Material Declaration Sheets when necessary
• Implement metrics and maintain metrics for Management Review
• Requires proficiency in spreadsheet creation, manipulation and display
• Exhibit strong data collection and analytical knowledge leading to root cause analysis and problem resolution
• Interpret and execute policies and procedures that affect subordinate work
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and free of debris
• Maintain employee morale to ensure process is completed as scheduled

Qualifications

• B.A. degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of relative experience
• Solid product manufacturing comprehension
• Computer electronics is a plus
• Working knowledge of maintaining ISO 9001 and other agency standards
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes, influences and containment tactics
• Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and occasional travel for business or training
