What We're Looking For
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and controlling the Operational Quality function relating to the assurance of the quality of incoming and outgoing product quality and customer satisfaction within a specific site or geography.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Selects, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of the team
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations
- Provides leadership for continuous improvement initiatives
- Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of products
- Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data
- Establish, maintain and distribute quality metrics
Preferred Education and Work Experience
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry
- 6+ years experience including a minimum 1-2 years as a team lead/supervisor
