Quality Supervisor

About the role

Quality Supervisor oversees a team of Quality Training Specialists to execute the activities required to meet IES training and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Quality Manager to establish company's quality procedures, standards and specifications for all business units.
• Define and train quality procedures to team and operations staff.
• Review reports done by team to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Ensure that manufacturers’ specifications are met.
• Proactively look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing data and recommendations.
• Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
• Use relevant quality tools to make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
• Monitor team to confirm we are working as effectively as possible.
• Be a customer advocate.
• Mentor team members to achieve goals; professional and personal.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Physical and Mental Requirements: Operate as a team member of management, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Lead by positive example on policy, quality, safety, employee, ethical, and customer satisfaction attitude.
• Must be able to work a non-standard work schedule as required to provide job, team or individual specific training.
• Must be able to learn and teach Company and customer project management systems.
• Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
• Must be able to meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, Minimum of three (3) years training experience or related role, Minimum of five (5) years project management experience in telecommunications, electrical or a related technical or construction field, Prefer BICSI trainer certification, Demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training and contract administration, Working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications, Skilled in numerical and statistical analysis, Organize and plan your work and work of others, Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project), Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviews publications, Working knowledge of construction process (bid process, project management, delegation, financial etc.), Prefer BICSI Trainer certification, Minimum Years Of Experience: 6+

Pay

Min USD $64,000.00/Yr. Max USD $82,000.00/Yr.

Schedule

Regular attendance is mandatory.
