Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Participates in Continuous Improvement Projects and Material Review Board activities.
• Supervises employees engaged in inspection and testing activities.
• Aids in scheduling and conducting periodic audits of manufacturing processes.
• Helps to identify and schedule appropriate education and training requirements for personnel.
• Investigates all customer complaints regarding quality and coordinates appropriate actions.
• Maintains quality records and documents as required by contract or internal procedures.
• Supports and ensures compliance to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and customer specific quality programs.
• Complies with all company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Works and behaves safely by following all safety rules and regulations.
• Evaluates subordinate’s achievements to ensure departmental and plant objectives are met.
• Provides leadership and technical support for BY projects to improve products.
• Provides BU Management with analysis of quality data.
• Provides training on all Quality issues within the BU.
• Responsible for calibrating all measurement tools within the BU.
• Identifies opportunities and takes action to build strategic relationships between teams.
• Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities, compares data from different sources to draw conclusions, and uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
• Interacts with others in a way that gives them confidence in one’s intentions and those of the organization.
• Sets high standards of performance for self and others; assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.
